The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research for Higher Education Sector, Dr. Ibrahim Luqman, inaugurated today the project of automating medical education and electronic registration at Al-Hikma University in Sana'a and its branches in Taiz and Dhamar.

The Undersecretary was briefed on the project, which includes the inauguration of the 3D virtual anatomy tables at a cost of 240,000 dollars, as well as the launch of the university's website for admission and registration, and e-learning between the university's branches.

He heard from the Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, Dr. Salah Mesfer, the University's President, Dr. Mukhtar Dael, and his Vice President, Dr. Majid Al-Qatawi, about the 3D digital virtual dissection table that has been provided for the general medicine and surgery laboratories at the university's branches.

The Undersecretary of the Higher Education Sector, Dr. Luqman and the university leaders were briefed on the university's infrastructure, classrooms, equipment, medical laboratories, clinical skills laboratories, dental clinics, pharmaceutical and engineering laboratories, and their compliance with academic accreditation standards.

They listened to an explanation from the Vice Dean of the Quality Center, Dr. Khairallah Al-Kamil, about the level of the university's application of the standards and conditions of academic accreditation, the most prominent projects implemented during 2021-2025, and the steps taken to obtain local academic accreditation for five programs.
